Manchester United won’t start Amad or Shola Shoretire in the Europa League round of 16 against Real Sociedad.

Amad (18) and Shoretire (17) made their debut in victories against Sociedad and Newcastle United last week but will have to wait for their first competitive starts.

United are 4-0 overall against Sociedad and almost up to the eighth finals of the Europa League. The Spanish team will face Chelsea at Old Trafford three days before United in the Premier League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to rotate but has no plans to name any of the young debutants in his starting XI.

Solskjaer said, “Shola and Amad, no. I’m not sure [starting] would be fair to them, they will be in the roster. “

Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani missed Sociedad and Newcastle with muscle injuries, while Scott McTominay, who was sent off in the second half against Sociedad, was sidelined to beat Newcastle.

Solskjaer couldn’t confirm whether the trio would be suitable for Thursday’s draw.
