Beckie: Gold medal success makes me shiver!

In the 2021/22 campaign, the top tier of women’s football will be shown live for the first time on Sky and the BBC in a multi-million pound deal, underscoring the continued growth of women’s football.

City will kick off the new season with a trip to Everton which will take place at Goodison Park on Saturday 4th September at 1:30 p.m. UK time – with the game broadcast live on BBC One.

Gareth Taylor’s team will then greet Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday December 12th.

Two league heavyweights clash on matchday three when City travels to Arsenal at Meadow Park on Sunday, September 26 – also at 6:45 p.m. on Sky Sports Football.

Our visit to West Ham United on Sunday 3rd October was not selected for broadcast but will be featured on FA Player as last season.

Unsurprisingly, the first Manchester Derby of the season will be televised on BBC One when City heads to Leigh Sports Village at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday 9 October to face Manchester United.

Ticket information will be announced in due course, but season tickets for the 2021/22 women’s season are on sale now.
