According to reports from Germany, Arsenal have contacted about a move to bring Bayer Leverkusen’s defender Jonathan Tah to the Emirates.
A center-back appears to be on the list of priority signings for Mikel Arteta this summer, with the Gunners reportedly in advanced talks over a £ 50m deal for Brighton’s Ben White.
Arsenal finished eighth last season, missing out on European football for the first time in 25 years, and Arteta are looking to add several new signings to their squad.

According to SportBild, Leverkusen’s Tah is firmly on the radar, and both the Gunners and Leicester have contacted about a transfer for the 25-year-old.
Tah is said to be interested in a move to the top division of England, but a concrete offer from both clubs is still pending.
The German international played regularly for Leverkusen last season when he finished sixth in the Bundesliga and reached the round of 16 in the Europa League.

Meanwhile, the Gunners appear to be on the verge of snatching Brighton’s center-back White, who is currently on duty for England at Euro 2020.
When asked about the speculation linking him to a move to the Emirates, White admitted he was flattered.
“It’s nice, a lot has happened in the last two years, there has been a lot of noise,” he told talkSPORT.
When discussing it with teammates, he added, “Not really. They do not know what is true and what is not. So there’s no real point in talking about it. ‘
