Arsenal in dispute with Brighton over Ben White
Despite positive talks with Brighton, Arsenal’s move for Ben White has come up against a wall as the clubs remain unable to agree on a fee for the defender.
Graham Potter’s squad are charging no less than £ 50m for one of their most talented stars, while Arsenal are doing everything they can to bring that price down.
The Gunners are unable to spend £ 50m on a center-back, especially as they spent £ 30m two years ago on one who is still on duty at William Saliba.
According to the Mail, Brighton’s rating is high enough to stave off interest from a number of larger clubs.
Having signed his current four-year deal in Brighton just last year, he’s tied to Amex until at least 2024 unless someone meets the Seagulls’ expected fee.
