BBC ‘Welcome Back’ Soccer Promo and Twitter Reactions.
A BBC Sport Wales campaign to ‘welcome back’ football fans to the stadiums this weekend was challenged to forget about the Welsh league clubs.
The commercial opens with a message that says “Welsh fans will be returning to the stadiums this weekend for the first time in a year”.
It shows a montage of the Welsh teams competing in the English leagues, along with footage of Welsh internationals.

But commentators on social media have indicated that Welsh fans have been watching their teams at national and European games for the past two weeks.
While the Cymru Premier returns on August 13, the two leagues below, Cymru North and Cymru South, have been playing their fourth games since July 23.
New saints
Fans also watched as the Cymru Premier teams took on the European opposition, with New Saints racking up a slew of formidable victories.
Evan Powell posted a reply to the BBC’s message saying, “Tell me that you are neglecting your country’s budget pyramid without telling me that you are neglecting your country’s budget pyramid ”.
While Huw Davies replied: “So the games I’ve seen at Trefelin, Taffs Well and Aberdare (twice) don’t count. And Wales versus Albania too.”
BBC Sport Wales have been criticized in recent weeks for lack of coverage of the New Saints in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.

The New Saints recently defeated former Champions League club Viktoria Plzen 4-2 at Cardiff City Stadium, making them favorites for the playoffs against the Czech team.
This weekend, Cardiff City, Swansea City and Newport County return to crowded terrain as the English Championship and leagues one and two return. Wrexham AFC will have their first game in the Vanamara National League this weekend.
