Blackburn Rovers learned their championship season schedule last week and the hard work will begin very soon when the squad returns to pre-season.

There’s still a lot of work to do in Brockhall and friendly matches to play before Rovers can think of the first day home game against Swansea City.

Manager Tony Mowbray will be excited to see his squad return to training, which makes an early impression and does best in the pre-game games.

Off the field, Rovers will be looking to add to their new signing Harry Pickering this summer, who agreed to sign again in January.

As things stand, the rovers only have to prepare for four test games, and no game is planned for Saturday, July 17th.

This is what the pre-season program looks like so far.
