Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is now a reported transfer target for Aston Villa as his £ 40million price tag looks too expensive for West Ham.

The England international has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge lately but it seems he won’t be able to leave the club so easily this summer.

Chelsea fans will be disappointed to see an Academy player leave the club, but at least he doesn’t appear to be on his way to London rivals West Ham.

Chelsea’s £ 40m bid price appears to be out of the hammer’s reach, although Eurosport claims Villa may be in the running for his signature even for that kind of fee.

Abraham has had a loan at Villa Park in the past and may be tempted to return there for a second period to play regular first-team soccer.

It remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached, but Villa has shown a lot of ambition with a move from Emi Buendia this summer while still targeting Arsenal ace Emile Smith Rowe.
