Who is David Prutton tipping on this weekend for winning the Sky Bet Championship? Find out here …

Hull vs Sheffield United, Saturday 12:30 p.m. – Live on Sky Sports Football

It’s been a bumpy return to the championship for Hull. They scored four goals on the opening day but haven’t scored since, which is really a cause for concern.

Sheffield United had a decent week despite their late disappointment with Preston mid-week, but at least goals are now falling for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side. I think Hull could score, but I don’t think they will get anything from the game

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)

Saturday, September 18, 12:00 p.m.

Kick-off at 12:30 p.m.

Cardiff vs Bournemouth, 3pm Saturday

Dominic Solanke scored his fifth goal in as many games as Bournemouth defeated QPR in Vitality

It’s been two defeats in their last three games for Cardiff. They were largely played out by Coventry in the middle of the week and need to improve their game from here.

Bournemouth looks like they’re driving a car now. Two straight wins and they remain one of only two undefeated teams in the league. This will be a tough test, but I expect them to prevail.

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)

Fulham vs Reading, Saturday 3pm

Fulham was back to what we expected in the middle of the week after that surprise in Blackpool last Saturday. They were tested at times by Birmingham and it was a far more even game than the result suggested. But they just have so much firepower up front and that made all the difference.

Reading had a huge win mid-week and they have one of the best midfielders in the league in John Swift and he gives them real hope. But Fulham should be just too good for them.

Prutton predicts: 3-0 (Sky Bet odds)

Huddersfield vs Nottingham Forest, 3pm Saturday

Huddersfield now has four wins out of five and looks very different from last season. Carlos Corberan’s plan seems to be working.

In the end, based on the results they had, it was inevitable that Chris Hughton’s time at Nottingham Forest would end sooner or later. It’s a shame for him and the club that it didn’t work out as we know what he’s best at at this level. Whoever comes in next has to pick this bunch off the ground, but I think Huddersfield will do the job on Saturday.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds)

Preston v West Brom, 3pm Saturday

Preston is now unbeaten by four, which has helped allay some of Deepdale’s early worries after a bad start to the season and concerns about attacking recruitment.

West Brom have done everything but score against Derby midweek and Valerien Ismael will be out to fix things on Saturday. I think they will.

Prutton predicts: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds)

QPR vs Bristol City, Saturday 3pm

A first loss of the season for QPR mid-week but it’s been a tough journey for them to Bournemouth and they still did really well on the south coast.

Bristol City still can’t win at home and came so close against Luton but if they keep collecting points it won’t be the end of the world. However, I would like QPR to return here.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds)
