The 2021 college football season started with a bang last week, and while the second week blackboard doesn’t seem nearly as filling, there are a number of big games for fans to bite into. The game of the day may have been played in the noon slot when No. 12 Oregon went off the road in a rematch of the 2015 national title game at No. 3 in the state of Ohio. But the action didn’t stop there. No. 10 Iowa stood out from in-state enemy No. 9 Iowa State in the first Cy Hawk game with two top 10 teams in its history.

Other perks spread throughout the day include a few locations where Pac-12 teams look for key wins outside of the conference. Colorado almost got No. 5 Texas A&M dropped while Washington travels to Michigan that evening. Many SEC teams, including No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia, took care of the cupcake game business. The night closes with a double nightcap as No. 21 Utah visits BYU in the latest edition of Holy War and welcomes No. 14 USC Stanford, with both games starting after 10 p.m. ET.

CBS Sports will keep you updated with the latest scores, highlights, and storylines all night long. All times of Easter
