Tech-wise, the 2021 college football season is already well underway considering there were week 0 games and a single showdown on Wednesday night. However, you will be hard pressed to find someone who does not recognize Thursday night as the real start of the campaign, as there are 15 games with FBS opponents and four with ranked teams across the country.
Dual Feature Thursday begins with the powers that be from the Boise State and UCF Group of Five gathering in Orlando as both programs welcome new coaches after their previous stewards depart for the SEC’s greener pastures. Andy Avalos was a lesser known move for the Broncos than Gus Malzahn was for the Knights, but the anticipation is high to see what both teams look like on Thursday. The Ohio State No. 4 in Minnesota with the Buckeyes starting their expected run into the college football playoffs with a new quarterback in CJ Stroud under the middle. No. 22 Coastal Carolina, No. 24 Utah, and No. 25 Arizona State are also in action, though all are double-digit favorites over non-Power Five opponents.
CBS Sports will keep you updated with the latest scores, highlights, and storylines all night long. All times of Easter
