Burnley’s February fixture list is now ready to be confirmed with the televised details of the top three Premier League games.

The home games against Brighton and Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion as well as the trip to Crystal Palace had preliminary impulses at 3 p.m. on the respective Saturdays.

These slots remain unchanged, so the Clarets’ schedule for the next month is as follows:

Wed February 3: Manchester City H (6pm on BT Sport)

Sat Feb 6: Brighton H (3 p.m. on Sky Sports)

Tue February 9: Bournemouth H (FA Cup 5, 5.30 p.m. at BT Sport)

Sat, February 13: Crystal Palace A (3 p.m. on Sky Sports)

Sat, February 20: WBA H (3 p.m. on Sky Sports)

Sun, February 28, Tottenham A (2 p.m. on Sky Sports)

In the meantime, the Premier League and Football Association will be rolling out additional permanent concussion substitution attempts in the Premier League, Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship, and the Emirates FA Cup (from the fifth round) starting February 6.

Because player welfare is paramount, the protocols allow a maximum of two concussion substitute players per team, with the opposing side using the appropriate number. The additional concussion replacements can be made regardless of the number of replacements a team has already made.

The study is the result of IFAB’s consultation with stakeholders and recommendations from its Concussion Expert Group to allow for additional substitutions for players with actual or suspected concussion.
