FIFA 22 Ones To Watch: Lukaku & Grealish amongst Premier League stars

EA Sports has revealed upgrades to the biggest signings of the summer transfer window that will span the entire season

Romelu Lukaku and Jack Grealish are among the Premier League stars in FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition is new Watch out Series on Ultimate Team.

EA Sports celebrates the biggest deals of the summer transfer window with an item that upgrades FUT players based on their real-world performances over the course of the season.

A number of Premier League players have now been confirmed as Ones to Watch, including Chelsea’s record £ 98m ($ 137m) signing Lukaku and Manchester City’s record British purchase Jack Grealish, which cost the reigning English champions £ 2m more.

Who Are FIFA 22 To Watch Out For?

Lukaku was rated 88 after his return from Inter to Chelsea, while Grealish was rated 84 after joining City from Aston Villa.

Rated 91 after returning to United from Juventus on the cut-off date, Cristiano Ronaldo will be one of the most sought-after players at FUT in the latest installment of the game.

Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate is the fourth Premier League man to receive a ones-to-watch item, with the Frenchman ranking 78 following his £ 36m move from RB Leipzig to Anfield.

Real Madrid’s new signing David Alaba was previously confirmed as a One to Watch, as were Paris Saint Germain trio Lionel Messi, Georginio Wijnaldum and Achraf Hakimi.

How does the FIFA 22 One to Watch item work?

Lukaku, Grealish, Ronaldo, and Konate will all see their Ones To Watch item upgrades when they receive a qualifying performance-based In-Form item on Ultimate Team.

Team of the Week and Man of the Match are the two main items, but they’re also eligible for a Wins to Watch upgrade, which is a one-time +1 in-shape boost that takes effect when their respective teams are 5 Win games of the next 10 league games.

When will the ones-to-watch items be available?

The Ones to Watch item will be available when FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition officially launches on October 1st.

All customers who pre-order the game before this date will receive a non-tradable Ones To Watch player item in Ultimate Team. More players from the five European leagues will be announced in the coming days.
