FRANK LAMPARD is at risk of being sacked by Chelsea as his squad is more than capable of challenging the Premier League.
That is the opinion of Lampard’s former teammate William Gallas.

The Blues spent a whopping £ 228.7million overhauling their squad this summer after finishing fourth last season.
Lampard brought Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy into a bumper window.
After 17 games, Chelsea are in ninth place, ten points behind the leaders.
With Lampard clearly struggling to get his best players on a team, Gallas has shown that he fears for Lampard’s job.

Gallas told PlayOJO: “I am a little disappointed thinking Chelsea could compete with Liverpool to win the Premier League.”
“But after the last few games I was disappointed as Chelsea didn’t show the character to beat the big clubs.”
“I’m disappointed too because when you see the Chelsea squad they are one of the best and it’s really hard to understand what’s going on.
“When you spend almost £ 250m on players, it means you want to win the Premier League.

“But at the moment Chelsea’s position is not good. They are not playing against the big clubs.”
Gallas went on to say that former teammate Lampard, with whom he won two titles and the League Cup, was really in danger of being sacked after his bad start to the season.
The Frenchman continued: “The pressure is on Frank and he has to find a solution very quickly.
“As we know, as a Chelsea manager, you can be sacked very quickly.
“The pressure is on him and he has to find the right system.
“I hope Frank find the solution as soon as possible because he is a young manager, but I am sure that he will be a great manager in the future.
“He’s very passionate and knows football very well.
“But I think Lampard’s position is in danger.
“I’m sure the board is not happy with the results, which is why I’m sure Frank is in a dangerous position.”
