RB Leipzig’s new signing Josko Gvardiol has expressed his desire to move to Liverpool at some point in his career.
The Croatian defender will join RB Leipzig this summer, having reached an agreement with his current team Dinamo Zagreb earlier this year.
He will come to the German club to replace both Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konaté, who have moved to Bayern Munich and Liverpool respectively.
This means he will likely get his chance to impress from the start with the Bundesliga team, which has an established history of developing young players like him.

If he follows the same path as the Upamecano and Konaté mentioned above, it won’t be long before he is linked to a move to the Premier League.
A move to England was pending last year, with Leeds United fighting hard against Leipzig for his signature.
However, if he was rocking in the Premier League, there would only be one club he would be interested in.
“Liverpool,” he said to 24 Sata when asked about his favorite foreign club.
“My dad and I have watched Liverpool games since I was a little boy and I grew up only with them.
“When I took football more seriously, I started to follow them and I definitely want the Premier League and Liverpool.”
