Liverpool’s 2021/22 home shirt ranks second alongside Chelsea in terms of the price of a standard adult kit.
The Reds’ home top costs £ 69.95 to buy from Liverpool’s online store.
Liverpool released their home kit in May and it was largely well received, with the kit consisting of the traditional red shirt, red shorts and red socks, inspired by the 1964 season.
Only Manchester City (Puma) and Tottenham Hotspur (Nike) shirts cost more than Liverpool’s, both of which cost £ 70.
At the average price of a Premier League replica top set to hit nearly £ 60 this season, the Reds’ latest home shirt is significantly more expensive than other clubs in the division.
In comparison, Norwich City has the cheapest top of the league at £ 50, closely followed by Brighton at £ 52.

Liverpool also has the second most expensive junior shirt in the top division, with a junior home shirt costing £ 54.95 – exactly the same as Chelsea’s.
Again, only Manchester City and Spurs have a more expensive junior top priced at £ 55 each.
Liverpool are also one of the few clubs to sell ‘authentic’ kits that match exactly what the players are wearing on the pitch.
Unlike the men’s and junior kits, Liverpool’s authentic kit is the sixth most expensive in the Premier League – it costs £ 99.95.
Once again, Manchester City tops this list with their authentic top priced at £ 110 ahead of Tottenham Hotspur (£ 105), Chelsea (£ 104.95), Arsenal (£ 100) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (£ 100).
Liverpool will properly debut their 2021/22 home shirt when they travel to Norwich City on August 14th.
