The decision of who will win a spot in the Champions League this season remains to be seen as the Premier League top 4 race continues.

Arsenal made life at the top of the table interesting after taking a surprising 1-0 triumph at Chelsea on Wednesday. Last night’s goal line only added to the drama.

Liverpool scored three important points against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday evening and put the Reds back for a place in the Champions League.

“We have to recover quickly and leave. We played a good game and played well enough to win. Obviously we did a lot of real stuff tonight.”

It’s a race that will be on the rise as the league prepares for an exciting end to the campaign.

Liverpool have the cheapest games on paper, with away trips to declining West Brom followed by a visit to Burnley three days later. The Reds end the season at home against Crystal Palace, for whom there is nothing to play in the league.

The game that is likely to decide the fate of all three teams is the meeting between Chelsea and Leicester City next Tuesday.

A defeat for both sides would seriously undermine hopes for a Champions League result and give Liverpool a huge boost in their attempt to reach the top four.

Thomas Tuchel’s side face an away trip to Aston Villa on the final day of the campaign while the Foxes face another tough game as they host Tottenham Hotspur at King Power Stadium.
