It’s the last day of the transfer window and Liverpool remain connected to players, both inbound and outbound.

Ibrahima Konate remains the Reds’ only signing this summer, much to the frustration of some fans, but there is still time for the club to bring more deals across the line.

The departures of Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri mean that there are potential places in Jürgen Klopp’s squad for Michael Edwards and the Liverpool hierarchy.

While the transfer market strikes at 11pm, this is where you’ll find the latest transfer news, rumors and gossip from around the world.

Renato Sanches

What?

The Portuguese midfielder was previously touted as a potential Wijnaldum replacement and is reportedly slated to move to the Premier League – but not to Liverpool.

Sanches, one of the top performers of the title holder Lille last season, has rebuilt his reputation in France after a difficult move to Bayern Munich and difficulties with borrowing from Swansea.

However, given the club’s Portuguese ties, he has been linked to a surprise loan move to Wolves, despite Lille having previously suggested that Sanches would stay at the club.

He was only 24 years old and still a teenager when he helped Portugal win Euro 2016 and has since been called back to the national team.

What?

Divock Origi has been linked with a move from Liverpool all summer but with hours outside the window he’s still a Reds player.

Sky Sports News’s Dhamesh Sheth reported Monday night that “some” Premier League clubs were interested in the Belgian striker.

According to the report, Liverpool would not consider a loan deal and would only be interested in permanent offers for the 26-year-old.

There are also doubts whether the Reds would approve a deal for Origi this late in the window despite being told he can leave as the club has little time to recruit a potential replacement.

What?

The Reds reportedly conducted an investigation into the Brighton midfielder late last week as they continue to be linked to midfield goals.

However, ECHO believes that no official approach has been taken for the 25-year-old as Brighton has valued his star man at £ 40million.

Even so, Bissouma has been described as a player who could make a difference for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

The Daily Star picked the midfielder alongside Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria as two players, sporting director Michael Edwards, were due to make a late move as of the deadline.
