David de Gea told his Manchester United teammates that a point against Chelsea was not good enough to fulfill their ambitions to win the Premier League.

United continued their arduous game against their six big rivals with a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge – they haven’t scored a goal against either side in the Premier League since last March.

That approach has so far been enough for one point against Chelsea (twice), Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal this season, and while De Gea accepted that one point was a fair result against the Blues, he knows it won’t in the long run enough is run.

“I think it was [the right result]We didn’t have many chances, we didn’t create a lot, “he told MUTV.

“I think both teams defended really well, there weren’t many chances, the draw was okay, but if we want to win trophies we have to beat these teams.”

The next challenge for United is on Wednesday night at the Crystal Palace.
