In the Southern League Premier Central, Banbury United fell 1-1 at home against Stourbridge.

Although the Puritans played the majority of the game with 10 men, they equalized with Ben Acquaye 20 minutes from time.

In the Southern League Central Division One there were wins for Didcot Town and North Leigh, who defeated Aylesbury United 2-0 and Kempston Rovers 1-0, respectively.

Wantage Town drew 1-1 at home with Barton Rovers while Thame United drew 1-1 at Welwyn Garden City.

Kidlington had a frustrating start to the season and lost 5-1 to Ware at home.
