Nottingham Forest are ready to sign Brighton striker Glenn Murray by the end of the season.

Murray started the season on loan from the Watford chases but returned to the Brighton parents’ club after just six missions in which he did not score.

He said, “Your thoughts can change. It’s a very emotional game and we as managers are very involved in it.

“An achievement where you don’t do so well, then you think, ‘Well, maybe we need this position or this position’, then that will change in the next game or in the following game.
