Brighton & Hove Albion have impressed so far this season, winning three out of a possible four while Leicester City is undefeated.
While writing his weekly predictions for BBC Sport, he claimed he believed the two teams would play a hard-fought 1-1 draw on the south coast this weekend.
Lawrenson wrote: “Leicester is almost expected to win these types of games now, but I don’t think it will be that easy for them.
“Brighton managed to beat Brentford very late last time but they have some momentum now having won three of their first four games.”
