Real Madrid reportedly are considering recalling Dani Ceballos from his loan game at Arsenal as the midfielder struggles for starts in red and white.

The 24-year-old impressed under Mikel Arteta during his first loan at the club last season and was welcomed with open arms at the Emirates Stadium for the 2020/21 season.

However, Ceballos has failed to keep a regular place on Arteta’s team this season. Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny preferred the Spanish international in the Gunners’ recent wins against Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion.

With Thomas Partey’s imminent return, which is also set to hurt Ceballos’ chances of leaving the team, Calciomercato claim Real Madrid could try to terminate their loan deal at the Emirates Stadium.

The report adds that despite his struggles in the English capital, the midfielder has generated a lot of Serie A interest. Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all looking for his signature.

Ceballos has made 22 appearances for Arteta’s side in all competitions this season, but so far he has only started eight of Arsenal’s 16 Premier League games.

Manchester United reportedly remain interested in Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

The England international was heavily linked to a summer move to Old Trafford but the Red Devils were unwilling to meet Villa’s price tag, which was in the £ 100m region.

The 25-year-old was in great shape for Dean Smith in the 2020/21 season. He scored six goals and registered eight assists in 15 appearances in all competitions.

Grealish is set to face fifth place at the mansion against runner-up United on Friday night when the two teams lock their horns in the Premier League.

The 20-time English champions are still looking to take the playmaker to Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail, but they could be over £ 100m for a player who signed a five-year deal at Villa Park in September.

Grealish have scored five goals and registered eight Premier League assists this season. His team won eight of their first 14 games with an excellent start.
