Lorenzo Insigne scored to give Napoli a 2-0 win over Fiorentina and a top-four Serie A and Champions League result next season.

The win leaves Gennaro Gattuso’s side on 76 points, one point ahead of AC Milan and Juventus in fourth and fifth, before Milan host Cagliari later on Sunday.

Napoli are guaranteed a place in next season’s Champions League if they win their last game of the season at home against Hellas Verona next Sunday.

Juve beat champions Inter Milan on Saturday to assert themselves against Napoli. So he traveled to Florence and needed a win to get into the finals in one of the four qualifying positions of the Champions League.

Insignes tame was saved, but he shot the rebound home and the Italian winger was almost a second away when he was again knocked down by the woodwork with a low shot that hit the post.

Napoli doubled their lead in the 67th minute when Insigne slipped a pass to Zielinski, whose first strike distracted Lorenzo Venuti on his way into the game and was awarded as an own goal to pack the points.
