The SPFL has announced that it will announce the schedule for Scotland’s four best divisions next month.
Matchlists for the 2021/22 campaign will be released on Tuesday, June 15 at 9 a.m., when teams across the country get their first glimpse of the upcoming Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two games .
In the top division, Rangers will defend their league crown after winning a historic 55th title this season, while Hearts will return to the Premiership after lifting the silverware under the tutelage of Robbie Neilson.
Partick Thistle will be back in the second division after the dramatic success of League One in recent days, while Queen’s Park will try to make a name for itself after being promoted from League Two.
The last places in all four divisions will be awarded in the coming days, as the Premiership comes to an end next week and the play-offs in the other three ranks have been completed.
The 2021/22 season is slated to start over the weekend of Saturday July 31st, as attention is already on the new campaign before a big summer begins for Scottish football with Steve Clarke’s side competing in the European Championship.
