Lincoln Recipient Brings Player of the Week Awards

Sean Williams wasted no time proving he could play at college level last week.

The junior receiver spent some time on the college squad last year but was asked to play a more prominent role on offense this season.

Williams got to work Thursday in Thursday’s 51-36 win over St. Clair Shores Lake Shore, where he demonstrated his explosiveness by catching a 37-yard touchdown pass and opening kick-off of the second half Covered 95 yards for another score.

Thanks to his performance, Williams was able to oust his teammate Jorden Collier as Footballer of the Week in Ann Arbor.

Williams claimed 5,928 votes to Collier’s 5,791 votes. The poll exceeded a total of 26,544 votes.
