Mbappe – who could potentially appear before the end of the transfer window in one of his last games for PSG with Real Madrid – had already given PSG two goals with one goal in each half.
He scored his first goal in the 16th minute with a close-range header after Angel Di Maria floated a ball into the box.

PSG had the upper hand for most of the game but couldn’t capitalize on it. Her lack of finesse in her final shots almost recurred in the 51st minute when Marshall Munetsi shot the ball into PSG’s net after a poor Keylor Navas goalkeeper.
The ball was thrown into the penalty area and El Bilal Toure hit it towards the goal. Navas fumbled the ball in Munetsi’s way and Munetsi put it in the net. However, after a VAR check, it turned out that he was marginally offside and the goal was not recognized.
However, PSG began to attack with renewed energy and found their second goal. Achraf Hakimi sent a cross to the back post in the 63rd minute, where Mbappe waited again for a transformation.
The result means that PSG have held their perfect Ligue 1 record this season, leading the table with 12 points.
