TAUNTON (CBS) – Bristol-Plymouth Technical School has closed its college and junior college soccer teams due to an increase in COVID-19 cases among players.
Team activities are closed until September 27th unless additional COVID cases are reported.

Students identified as close contacts for team members who tested positive were notified by the school nurse.

“We appreciate the continued patience and cooperation of our entire school community, including students, their families and school staff,” said Superintendent Dr. Alexandre Magalhaes. “We would also like to thank the City of Taunton and the Health Department for their ongoing guidance and support in managing the pandemic and keeping our students safe.”
