On Tuesday July 20th, Bridges scored a superb 1-0 away win at Leatherhead of the Ishtmian Premier Division in the first half thanks to an injury goal from young Ben Aubrey.

And they appeared to be on their way to another win on Friday as they took the two lead within the first five minutes at Horsham YMCA, with Ben Bacon and Brannon O’Neill in the finish.

But after that they got too complacent and although Curtis Gayler scored another goal, the end result was a 3-3 draw that displeased the entire management team.

Yesterday (Tuesday) night Three Bridges defeated Eastbourne United 4-3 in a thriller.

Bridges took a 2-0 lead within 26 minutes before a United Trialist and Charlie Ball were able to level the score at halftime.

The visitors took the lead again three minutes after the second half, but Chinonse Nwajagu equalized ten minutes later.

And with three minutes left, Ball added his second of the game to give United an unlikely win.

The Bridges preseason games end next Saturday when Corinthian-Casuals will be the visitors to the anniversary field.

The Three Bridges Isthmian South East league schedule begins with a home game against Ramsgate on Saturday August 14th.
