Two games for Chelsea in October have been postponed to match TV schedules for the month announced by the Premier League on Friday afternoon.

The Blues’ drive along the A4 to the newly promoted Brentford has been postponed to Saturday, October 16, at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Later that month, on October 23, the Blues meet another newcomer Norwich City at Stamford Bridge. This game will now start at 12.30pm on Saturday lunchtime instead of the 3pm originally planned.

That means six of Chelsea’s games will be broadcast live on subscription TV in September and October.

The home game against Aston Villa on September 11th will kick off at 5.30 p.m., eight days later Chelsea will travel on Sunday, 7 p.m. kick-off on September 25th.

Two more Chelsea matches will be televised live in August at the start of the season, but not the opening match against Crystal Palace on August 14.

The first time that we will see Thomas Tuchel’s team in action on the show is the visit to the Arsenal on Sunday, August 22nd at 4.30 p.m.

The trip to Liverpool follows six days later, kicking off at 5.30 p.m. on Anfield Road on August 28th.

Later in the season, Chelsea’s visit to Watford is slated for November 30th, potentially hoping for a move into the Champions League with the Blues.
