The Indian national soccer team‘s upcoming friendlies against Oman and UAE will be broadcast live in India, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed on Tuesday.
Trainer Igor StimacThe boys will be back in action with the two international friendlies in Dubai after over a year of COVID-19 hiatus. The Blue Tigers will meet Oman on March 25th and the United Arab Emirates on March 29th.
Incidentally, India’s last international match took place on November 19, 2019 against Oman in the joint qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The two friendlies will be important preparation games for the Indian soccer team, which will resume their Group E qualifiers in June. India will play against the Asian champions Qatar on June 3rd, their neighbors Bangladesh on June 7th and Afghanistan on June 5th in qualifying.
