After just one season in the championship, Watford is back in the Premier League and will return to Aston Villa on August 14th.
The Hornets immediately returned to the first division when they secured automatic promotion under coach Xisco Munoz.
A trip to Brighton follows the opening game before Tottenham and Wolves visit Vicarage Road. The reverse games are festive when Watford goes away to the Wolves on Boxing Day and the New Year is seen in north London at Spurs.
Munoz hopes security can be ensured early on with the games against Manchester City, Leicester City and Chelsea, which make up three of their last five games. The season ends on May 22nd at Stamford Bridge.
Watford enjoyed five seasons in a row in the Premier League before being relegated at the end of the 2019-20 season.
