This morning the Premier League games for 2021/22 were released – and next week it’s the turn of the championship.

Nottingham Forest doesn’t have to wait long to find out their schedule for the upcoming campaign.

The day the games are released is always associated with great anticipation, as fans look forward to writing appointments in their diaries – and they hope to be able to attend the games in person next semester after the Reds has been more than a year Behind the closure are doors on the town square.

The championship games will take place on Thursday, June 24th at 9 a.m.

It’s a big campaign for Chris Hughton’s squad as they are aiming for a top 6 finish.

They will hope to be carried by some new signings once the action gets underway as the manager tries to use the transfer window to reshape his squad after finishing 17th last time.

The delicious meetings with arch-rivals Derby County are always one of the first dates fans look for when the games are released. And there will be clashes with Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United, all of whom came from the Premier League, while Hull City, Peterborough United and Blackpool were promoted from the Premier League.

Carabao Cup round one – week starting August 9th

Carabao Cup Final – Sunday, February 27, 2022

Final day of the regular season (championship) – weekend in May ⅞, 2022

Championship play-off final – Sunday 29 May 2022
