ON The family-owned chemical company has advanced the future of children’s football in the region by becoming the main sponsor of an award-winning football academy.

Funds donated by Cross Hills company Airedale Group will be used by the Soccer Hub soccer training center to develop its program to inspire the next generation of soccer players in North and West Yorkshire.

Chris Chadwick, CEO of Airedale Group, stated, “We are always interested in causes and organizations that we believe could benefit from our support, and Soccor Hub is directly in line with our CSR strategy, in youth development, local businesses and investing in sporting activities.

“Soccor Hub, which covers the Skipton, Keighley and South Craven areas, has a great philosophy of developing players of all ages and abilities to become the best they can be while building confidence and making friends, which is our point are proud to support. “

Jordan Armstrong, founder of Soccer Hub and former professional footballer who has played for Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Shrewsbury Town and the Spanish team Cadiz CF, founded the company seven years ago and now offers weekly coaching, group training, Soccer Hub children’s , Girls’ and elite soccer academies, a technical development center and training in local elementary schools.

He added, “We are grateful to the Airedale Group for filling the position of Main Sponsor and Official Shirt Sponsor, which enables us to provide new matchday jerseys and accessories for elite academy players for use in Junior Premier League and professional academy games .

“We’re also using it to invest in more equipment that will allow us to enhance the Soccer Hub experience for all of our footballers in all ages from our 18 month old ‘little ones’ to our 14 year olds to enhance their skills and use their fun to the next level ”.

The Airedale Group contributes to the organization through its nonprofit arm, the Airedale Foundation, which was created to support the company’s local community groups and local charities.

Part of the Airedale Group is Airedale Chemical, headquartered in Cross Hills since 1994, providing chemicals and contract manufacturing for markets such as agriculture, dairy, water treatment and waste management.
